How to add block into header ?

I want to add new blocks into header section where logo is showing and main menu is also showing.
I just want to move the logo on to main menu and also want to add sub menu
like

about us , contact us , site map (Placed near top right position in header)

If anyone have idea how to do it . Please let me know
