im a beginner facing some problems with the masthead...sorry if the question has been already asked - what i read so far didn't help me out :/
im using joomla 3 with purity iii - magazine layout, page still offline/localhost. created a masthead, and cannot resize the header or add a background image (or i can upload an image directly in the editor but it would mess up with the menu above). i tried to link to the image file that i uploaded in media (as well as a default image) directly in .css template, line 2300-something, under "masthead", but nothing happens. likewise, i tried to give different values for the header but nothing happened, either. in the best case, i would like to resize the header inside the masthead and highlight it in white, and of course have the picture. i realize resizing header is not a new topic, either, but when i tried to change values, save, less to css, refresh etc, nothing happens.
would be extremely grateful for any help.
