t3_bs3_blank tpls/block files

Hello,

Inside the t3_bs3_blank tpls/block folder is a mainbody folder containing a number of additional block files.

I have been trying to use one of them, the one-sidebar-left.php file.

The sidebar left code in that file has a module position of sidebar.

No matter what I do I cannot get a module to display in that position. I have also used sidebar-left and sidebar-1, still no luck.

Also, the module position does not show in the Extensions/Template Manager layout tab page. The new module positions sidebar and sidebar-left have been added to the templateDetails.xml file.

Is there some additional configuration required for these files to get the modules to display correctly.

I would like to be able to use these files so any help would be appreciated.
