I've downloaded the purity III as well as the t3 templates. Even though purity III claims to work with jomsocial, the navbar in jomsocial doesn't work. I noticed it didin't even work in the demo joomlart has for viewing. The problem i'm having is that the navbar in jomsocial while using these templates is simply a blank nav space with nothing in it until you reduce the viewing screen to a point where the main nav turns into the little nav box. (the off-screen nav size)

The template is joomlart's t3-bs3-blank (NOTE: the nav bar works in joomlart's t3-blank, but not in t3-bs3-blank)
I've also asked a similar question here so I thought I'd ask again referring specifically to these templates in the hopes someone else has some info that will help. Please help.
